It’s six months since I paused writing to you all regularly, and - I think - I’m back! With something a little bit different. It’ll still be chatty, it’ll still be full of book recommendations and stories about the completely insane things that always seem to happen to me, and it’ll still be me.
But I’m embarking on a challenge. Today, as I write this to you, is exactly seven months before my 32nd birthday. I’ve spent much of the last few years turning my life upside down in big and scary ways - moving from one end of the UK to the other, selling my flat, going back to uni and leaving my job - but now it’s time to focus on some goals that are more about quiet consistency. There are seven goals I have that I’m going to report back to you on every week. They’re not flashy, they’re not dramatic, but they’ll add up to setting myself up to live the rest of my 30s - and beyond - more happily and healthily. As we work our way through, I’ll tell you a little more about each of them, but here are the seven things I want to achieve by my next birthday (or be doing on a consistent basis over the next seven months):
Some of them are pretty self-explanatory, others have a bit more detail behind them that’s for my eyes only - but they’re all things I want to be chipping away at bit by bit and working consistently on.
Wish me luck - and I’ll be back next Monday to tell you how week one of the project went.
Best
Lily
Yay, welcome back 🎉🎉
Really good goals Lily - good luck!!
